TRAVELING DOWN GRAVEL ROADS

There is a is a tag line “All roads lead to Rock City” used by a theme park near my hometown in Chattanooga Tennessee for their advertising campaigns. Another ingenious marketing tool they have used for many years along the interstates throughout the southeastern United States is signs they have painted on extremely old barn roofs saying, “See Rock City.” People traveling within 150 miles of Chattanooga already know of its existence before they get near the city. For 60 years I have been blessed with being able to travel the highways and byways and have had the privilege of experiencing the beauty of different areas and cultures of other countries. No matter how many places I have been, my heart keeps getting drawn back into a simpler life off the highways and pavement. God created each of us unique yet in his own image. We all have different things that spark our interest, different passions and taste that make us who we are. I will be sharing some of the passions I have acquired in my 60yr on planet earth. My tag line of life could read, ” Life keeps leading me Down Gravel Roads”. In this blog, I will be sharing thoughts and commentaries from a Christian, with a hint of redneck perspective. My post will not appeal to the masses, but they will be from the heart. I will be sharing some of the knowledge I have acquired through the years. Gardening, outdoor cooking, southern cuisine, hunting, fishing and all the tools and equipment that goes along with them will be some of the things I will be sharing. As the blog evolves, I will be including reviews, product recommendations, links, and demonstrations of some of the things that I have spent years discovering makes things go just a little easier in Gravel Road life. My hope is that I can not only use this platform to clear the thoughts constantly running through my head, but I may be able to help someone else along the way.
